An amazing team of volunteers routinely visit schools, science centers, festivals and other venues around Bristol to tell you more about our very own dinosaur! Most recently they were spotted at Science Alive where visitors had the opportunity to learn about the Bristol Dinosaur, touch real dinosaur bones, watch videos, and they even made replica bones to take home!  Just Discovered: 5 Tonnes of Fossil-Rich Rock
Preparator, Remmert Schouten has the big job of removing dinosaur bones from five tonnes of rock! First he had to (carefully) break the rocks into small pieces with a hammer. Now he's using drills and airpens to remove each bone one at a time. Read more about Remmert's tough job...
